The outdoors are a big part of Ylva's life. She has a summer house in the Stockholm archipelago and enjoys hobbies like kayaking, hiking, horseback riding, and camping. She has a background as a fitness athlete but switched from heavy lifting to road cycling a few years ago. Ylva considers cycling meditative, and she solves all kinds of problems while on the bike.

She moved to Toronto in 2020 to follow her boyfriend and is now Canadian enough to put maple syrup on everything and say 'Sorry' in every other sentence.
