Meta Bytes is a company with a focus on system development and high-tech solutions. We strongly believe that technology can solve all problems, and that's precisely our mission – to solve companies' challenges with our technical expertise.
And we've got plenty of technical expertise. Naturally, we speak all programming languages (though we're particularly fond of Golang), and have a great group of solution architects and product experts. Much of what we do also involves consulting and strategic work with our clients.
Working at Meta Bytes is fun, flexible, and educational. We have a great atmosphere, an open-minded approach, and as an employee, you really get the opportunity to develop, whether it's in your technical skills or leadership abilities. We work with the latest technologies, are innovative in our solutions for clients, and support each other.

We strongly believe in making Monday the best day of the week by fostering a nerdy and creative workplace to achieve the best technical solutions. Since people spend a considerable amount of their life at work, it's important to us that the work is meaningful, rewarding, and enjoyable.

Our tech stack consists largely of Golang (<3), Flutter, React, Terraform, and AWS. But also PHP, Azure, and .NET.

Of course! Some of our employees are in the office almost every day of the week, some one day a week, some three... Well, you get it! However, we prefer if you live close enough to the office to come in when needed.

When we asked our employees this, most of them answered flexibility, that it's a fun workplace, and that we are innovative (and of course, the office dogs!).
Timeline
Meta Bytes was founded
Henrik and Oskar put their heads together and founded Meta Bytes!
First employments
In 2017, Henrik and Oskar finally got some company when Stefan, Johan, and Patrik joined the party.
Newcomer of the Year
Named Newcomer of the Year among companies in Laholm! (Look how proud they are!)
Grew like wildfire
In 2019 and 2020, things were moving fast with lots of new employees, projects, and exciting challenges!
5th anniversary
The 5th-anniversary celebration involved a big party, and many colleagues could finally meet each other for the first time!
Office in Canada
In the fall of 2023, we opened an office in Vancouver, Canada!
